These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of upscainotes.in (the “Site”) and your purchase of our digital study tools (the “Products”), operated by UPSC AI Notes (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or buying a Product, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Products

The Products are interactive, self-contained study tools for civil-services and competitive-exam preparation. They are study aids only. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with the UPSC or any government body. We do not guarantee any examination result, rank, score, or selection.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to purchase. By buying, you confirm the information you provide is accurate.

3. Verification and access

We verify your email or mobile number using a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping your access secure and for activity carried out using your verified number or email. Do not share your access with others.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown on the Site in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Your purchase is confirmed only after Razorpay confirms successful payment. We reserve the right to change prices prospectively.

5. Licence you receive

On successful payment you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the purchased Product for your own preparation with lifetime access — no expiry date and no renewal fee. Access is provided online through this Site only and is not available for offline download. If we change the access terms for future purchases, that change does not apply retroactively: anything you have already bought keeps the access it was sold with. You may restore access on your devices, within the validity period, by signing in with your one-time password (OTP).

6. What you may not do

• Resell, redistribute, sub-licence, rent, publicly share, or commercially exploit the Products or their content.
• Copy, scrape, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Products.
• Remove or alter any ownership or copyright notices.
• Share, transfer, or pool your access with other people.

Breach of this clause may result in termination of your licence without refund.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, branding and trademarks on the Site are owned by us or our licensors. Any government/NCERT source material referenced for study remains the property of its respective owners; our Products are original compilations, explanations and tools built for learning.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful, infringing, or abusive purpose, and not to attempt to breach its security or access other users’ purchases or data.

9. Community board

The Site hosts a public question board. You must be signed in to post, and you must use your real full name, which is displayed publicly alongside your post. You are solely responsible for what you post.

You agree not to post: abuse, harassment, hate speech or threats; spam, advertising, referral links or contact numbers; copyrighted material you do not own (including scanned pages from paid books, test series or coaching material); another person’s personal information; examination material obtained unlawfully; or anything false, misleading or unlawful.

By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store and distribute your post on the Site. You keep ownership of what you write, and you can delete your own posts at any time.

We may remove any post, hide content that receives multiple reports, and suspend accounts that breach these rules — with or without notice. Posts are contributed by other aspirants and are not verified by us; they are opinions, not authoritative guidance, and should not be relied on as a substitute for official UPSC notifications or standard reference texts.

10. Updates to Products

We may update, improve, or occasionally discontinue Products. Where we discontinue a Product, we will make reasonable efforts to preserve access to what you have purchased.

11. Disclaimers

The Products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work hard for accuracy but do not warrant that content is error-free or fully up to date; always verify exam-critical facts against official sources.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a Product is limited to the amount you paid for that Product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

13. Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Delivery of Products is governed by our Delivery Policy.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

16. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date will change. Continued use of the Site means you accept the revised Terms.
